Jean was appointed as the Chief Legal Officer and Board Secretary of Qetaifan Projects in January 2019. He oversees all corporate and legal matters related to the company’s growing business.

Jean brings in 23 years of broad experience in complex legal matters with extensive legal experience in corporate law, real estate, construction, hospitality and in cities’ development and management. He moved to Doha in 2009 after spending 11 years working at law firms in Lebanon and the GCC region and has been handling a wide variety of corporate, commercial and major real estate matters.

Jean had worked for several renowned private and government companies in Qatar and on significant projects like the Pearl Qatar; Lusail City; and other Barwa and Qatari Diar projects; in addition to Aspire Zone, the Cultural Village – Katara. Jean graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of La Sagesse, Beirut with an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) in 1997, he is a holder of a Master of Advanced Studies in Law (D.E.A.) and was a researcher in private law centers of universities in France. Jean was admitted to the Beirut Bar Association in 1999.
